Election

When is election day?
Saturday 20 September
What hours can you vote on election day?
9:00am / 7:00am
What date does this year’s election officially end?
Saturday 4 October
Why is there a gap between election day and when the election ends?
So votes can be counted.

Hoardings
All of the signs have to be taking down on election day.
Sign-written vehicles
You are not allowed to put up signs on car on election day.
Fixed signage on party headquarters and MP’s electorate offices
You are allowed signs on your office if it does not infuses people  
Delivery of election material prohibited
You are not allowed to send promotion stuff to people on election day.
Websites and social media
You are allowed to have promotion on the internet. But It has to be published before election day. 
Processions and demonstrations
You are not allowed on election to go around town saying to people vote for me vote for me.
Streamers, rosettes, ribbons etc
You are a allowed to were a bage that has your party colours. 
Clothing promoting the party or candidate
You are allowed to were clothes that are your party colours.
Imitation ballot papers
You are not allowed give papers away that look like the voting card.
