Dring dring dring ahh dring dring dring ok I got. Smack went my hand onto the alarm clock
‘guess I have to get up now’ mumbled Mike.
He glanced at the clock it said 7:30 I slowly got up out of bed on to my feet.It was the frist days of February I was geting ready to stock on food of the winter
‘this is going to take me a long time’ said mike.
‘Mike breakfast time’ said Jade
‘just hold on I will be there soon’ replied Mike
So he sat down and had his breakfast after he had got dressed the time was 8:15.
‘Lets start work now so we can be done by 11:00’ said Mike to Jade
so they chucked on there gumboots and went of to work for the morning.
‘Ahh whats the time’ said mike ‘10:30’ replied Jade
‘cool we only have a little more work to do today then we can have some lunch’ happily said Mike.
At 10:45 they had finish stocking the food up for the day
‘lets pack up now and and go have lunch’.
‘I am starving and ready for some food’ said mike
‘rumble rumble rumble rumble’ went the ground Mike and Jade went down to the ground Mike got on to his feet and ran inside to get their dog but jade did not get up
‘come on jade get up’ said Mike.
Jade did not respond to it Mike sprinted to her and noticed that when she was coming out of the shed something had hit her in the head quite hard as well.The thing that had hit her was a shuffle and it had made quite a cut so they went in to the middle of the paddock where no trees could hit them.After the earthquake Jade slowly came awake they called the ambulance and it came in a couple of minutes away ‘that good’ mumbled Jade.
Two weeks later all of the aftershocks had been Jade finally got out of hospital her cut had been stitched up and everything went back to normal.
